The CDI's first fall seminar for the Community Round Table Seminar Series will be held on Tuesday, October 25th from 12:30-2pm in the Theory Center.

Anjali Verma will host a workshop discussing “First-Week Interventions in the Classroom”, and, in particular, will describe current approaches to teaching recitations in 1400-level courses, which seek to encourage building collaborative environments in the classroom that are welcoming to all students. In this discussion, she will also challenge instructors and TAs to think about how to incorporate these ideas into their own classrooms. We especially encourage introductory-level course instructors to join.

Lunch will be provided at 12:30pm and the workshop will begin at 1pm.
