Last week marked two years since the Columbia campus shut down due to Covid-19, but was also the week during which most remaining restrictions on campus were lifted and we returned to near-normal operation.  To celebrate this reopening and rejuvenation, we would like to bring the Physics Department together for a Welcome Back to Pupin! event.

We will convene at 2:00pm in 428 Pupin for a welcome and comments from Department Chair Prof. Dmitri Basov, including time for Q&A, followed by presentations and updates from various departmental community groups, including the Committee on Diversity and Inclusion, the Physics Graduate Council, and undergraduate students.

Likely around 3:15pm, we will move to the Theory Center on the 8th floor of Pupin for an expanded Coffee Hour, with light refreshments.
